Haisley is our dearest little girl and she does have an adoption pending.
Haisley & Freckles are brother & sister. Their Mom was a Golden Retriever mix (she is pictured below) and Dad(s) might have been a beagle and well, we honestly do not know what the mix is. We had a foster home lined up for them, but they had a family emergency and could not foster our babies after all.
She is tiny and spunky and he is VERY large and a kissy boy!
We would love to have an experienced
foster family who is local to DE or PA that could foster them for us. All expenses are paid by the rescue. Please read our adoption policies first before applying to foster as the rules are the same for foster & adopters. We do not adopt our pups/dogs to foster families. Fostering is what saves lives. We can find adopters -- foster family make the difference in if puppies like this die in gas chambers in VA.
Freckles (check out that nose so you can see where his name came from) is a HUGE 10 week old puppy. He is a beagle mix but we do not know what he is mixed with except it was BIG!
He is very loving, very playful and loves to give puppy kisses! We are judging that he may come in at 70-80 pounds full grown so if you love big dogs --- he just might be the boy for you!
PLEASE NOTE: Please read our adoption policies BEFORE applying for a puppy or dog. Any puppy under 5 months old MUST have their spay/neuter PRE-PAID through the adoption donation. There are NO exceptions.

All L&F dogs/pups have been:
Temperament tested and has been chosen for having sweet, gentle dispositions.
Each L&F dog/pup is living in foster homes with families.
Each L&F dog/pup have been:
Crate trained
Potty trained - or paper trained if pups
Already SPAYED/NEUTERED
(pups under 5 months must be prepaid)
Microchipped
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus (for the duration of their stay with us)
Complete series of Distemper, Parvo vaccines and Rabies.

Two De-Wormings
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Electric Fence. The fence must be installed before we will proceed with processing an adoption application.
If you need a fence for your dog, but are not permitted to have a physical fence, or chose not to, please visit our friends at Pet Stop. Mention that you saw them at our website.

Please Note:
We do not adopt our puppies under 6 months to people who work full-time. Part-time or work from home is OK. We do not believe in leaving infants in crates all day.
We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
