UPDATE from Maggie/Madison's new Mommy: Dear Karen and Marissa: Just wanted to give you an update. Madison is doing GREAT. She loves her new home and neighborhood. She is really a super dog and I don't know how I lived without her. She is housebroken and loves her crate ("condo") We have our schedules worked out and I actually have "sitters" in 2-3 times per day for the next few weeks.
On Saturday morning I was walking her in the neighborhood and we ran into Chloe (now named Vida) and we went back to Vida's house for a 1 hour play session in the back yard where the girls ran arount like loons!!!!! ... and Jennifer, Mike and I had coffee :-).
Her first vet appointment is on Thursday and she has gotten lots of toys and goodies from her new family. I have attached a picture for you. Thank you for being her foster family and we hope to see you soon!
-Katie and Madison
UPDATE from Maggie's foster Mom:
Maggie is very playful, loves big dogs, and likes to wrestle. She is doing very well learning commands such as “kennel” and “sit”. She is just a fun and loving dog to be around. She does great with children and other animals in the house.
This is our new little shelter 14 week old baby Maggie. We were lucky enough to rescue this little one and her sister Cloe' and brother Butterball as their owner was dropping them off at the SPCA in Georgetown.
I know she looks very small here but actually she is a good size little one. She tipped the scales at 19 pounds so we think she is going to be almost as big as her brother Butterball. She is fearless and seems to be the leader. She is very playful and can make her brother cry like a little girl!
She and her sister Chloe have gone to their wonderful new foster home, so we will add more information about each of them as we learn more...
We are crate training the babies and working on their housebreaking.
